Important Release Notes
Below are some current issues with Alerts that you should
be aware of:

You do not need to uninstall version
1.0 to install version 2.0 |
|

You need to install v2.0 in the same
memory location (i.e. "Phone" or "Storage Card") as v1.0 in order
for 2.0 to see your existing data file (alert list). |
|
|
If you are using the data file from
v1.0, due to a data format change, you need to re-specify the
days-of-the-week for any weekly alerts you have. |
|
|
There is a new "View Recurring
Reminders" filter option, which is not enabled by default for
existing users. So, please click Menu....View...View Recurring
Reminders to see any recurring reminders. |

Orange Phone Customers
- If you are an Orange phone customer, and you get an error similar
to "This application does not have sufficient rights to install..."
when you try to install Alerts, then you might need to "Unlock" your
phone so it will allow you to install Alerts. Just go to
This Page and follow the directions to unlock your Orange phone.

Motorola Q Users

Bluetooth switching: There appears to be a bug in Q devices
that does not allow third-party apps to change the bluetooth
mode. If anyone knows of a third-party app that can switch the
bluetooth mode on a Q, please
